Thomas Howard Prince, Sr., 80, died Sunday, May 12, 2012, at the Regency Medical Center in Florence.
Mr. Prince, son of Joseph Prince and Henrietta Prince, was born January 22, 1933, in the Bucksport community.
He was a retired International Paper Company employee, a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of the Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a Mason.
He was survived by his wife, Wanda Deanne Prince; four children, Johnny "Joe" (Ashlee D. Timofai) Prince Sr., Rodney "Shane" (Heather Nichole McKenzie) Prince, Kenneth "Taylor" (Rebecca Ann Andrews) Prince, and Kayla Dawn Prince; twelve grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Maye Wyatt and Ruth Pinner.
He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Thomas Prince Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Nichole; a granddaughter, Amber Nichole Prince; a sister, Thelma Rogers; and a brother, Junior Prince.
A Home Going Celebration with Military Honors was Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at The Christian Fortress. Burial, directed by the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
